If you have a phone with a curved side (i.e. Nortel M39xx, i2004), you will need this external Extended accessory Assembly in order to utilize the HP Poly HL10 handset lifter properly. This part will act as part of the cradle to support the handset allowing for reliable operation of the lifter.

It also comes with a ring detector for phones where the speaker is not directly under the handset. Replaces the kit that comes with the HP Poly HL10 Handset Lifter.
